HAECO PRIVATE JET SOLUTIONS MEETS THE MIDDLE EAST AT MEBAA SHOWTue, 12/04/2016Read laterCompany returning for 2016 with twice the presence When Asia based HAECO Private Jet Solutions (HAECO PJS) wanted to break into the lucrative Middle East business aviation market, they decided to exhibit at the MEBAA Show in 2014 and has been reaping the benefits ever since. The company was so impressed with the results of their first experience exhibiting that they have decided to increase their presence at the MEBAA Show 2016, taking place 6-8 December this year. HAECO PJS specialises in cabin completion, reconfiguration, project management, engineering and certification services for VIP cabin projects, and were keen to capitalise on the opportunities in the Middle East. In particular, HAECO PJS’s goal was to form relationships with new customers from the region, and as one of 422 exhibitors at the 2014 show which attracted 8,314 visitors found itself in an ideal position to do so. Face-to-face interaction is an important part of how business progresses in the Middle East region, and three days of on the ground action provided them with ample opportunities to introduce themselves and their offerings to potential customers. “We met our expectations and managed to establish good relationships with our target customers during the MEBAA Show 2014,” said Henry Chan, VP commercial at HAECO PJS. He continued, “The event is a great platform to for us to present our company capability and mission to our clients, we look forward to returning to the MEBAA Show 2016.” Indeed the company has confirmed an increased presence at the 2016 show; double as much as in 2014, a testament to the success of the previous edition. Chan says that they are keen to maximise the opportunity to further increase awareness among the regional market. The Middle East’s private aviation sector is expected to be worth US$1.3 billion by 2020, and in 2015, Boeing Business Jets predicted the region to account for 35% of global sales. This offers opportunities to companies from around the globe, a fact that HAECO PJS and other exhibitors were aware of. In fact, the 2014 edition saw a significant increase in exhibitors from Asia, with three times as many as there had been in 2012. “The MEBAA Show has always had a reputation as the place to do business in the Middle East,” said Ali Alnaqbi, Founding Chairman of the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). “HAECO PJS’s experience as a first-time exhibitor in 2014 certainly demonstrated that exhibiting at the MEBAA Show is the ideal way to create relationships with this lucrative market. We are thrilled to hear that they found the show a success, and look forward to seeing them again this year.” The MEBAA Show 2016 takes place 6-8 December at DWC, Airshow Site. The next edition of the show is expecting 460 exhibitors and over 9000 visitors.
